To sell on TradeAfrika, vendors must:

 TradeAfrika reserves the right to verify and approve all vendor accounts.


 

3. Product Listing Standards

Vendors must ensure that all listings are:

 

a. Accurate and Honest

  1. Product descriptions must reflect the actual product.

  2. Images must be real and not misleading
  3. Specifications (size, weight, material, origin) must be correct

b. Legally Compliant

  • Products must comply with EU safety and import regulations
  • No counterfeit, illegal, or restricted goods allowed,

 

c. Available for Sale

  • Only list products that are in stock or available for delivery
  • Avoid overselling or false availability.

4. Pricing Policy

Vendors must:

  1. Display clear and accurate product prices
  2. Include applicable taxes where required
  3. Clearly state shipping costs
  4. Avoid hidden charges or misleading pricing

Price manipulation or deceptive practices are strictly prohibited.

 


5. Shipping & Fulfillment

All vendors must comply with the TradeAfrika Shipping Policy.

Key requirements include:

  1. Use reliable and trackable shipping providers such as
    • DHL
    • Hermes
    • DPD
    • GLS
    • UPS
  2. Provide accurate delivery timelines
  3. Ship orders within the stated processing time
  4. Upload valid tracking numbers after dispatch

Vendors are fully responsible for delivery performance.

 


6. Order Management

Vendors must:

  1. Confirm and process orders promptly
  2. Maintain clear communication with customers
  3. Update order status accurately
  4. Avoid unnecessary delays.

 


7. Returns & Refunds

Vendors must:

  1. Clearly define their return and refund policies.
  2. Comply with EU consumer protection laws (including withdrawal rights where applicable).
  3. Handle return requests professionally and promptly.
  4. Customers must be informed of return conditions before purchase.

 


8. Customer Service Standards

Vendors are expected to:

  1. Respond to customer inquiries within 24–48 hours
  2. Maintain professional communication
  3. Resolve disputes fairly and promptly

Poor customer service may affect vendor standing on the platform.

 


9. Prohibited Activities

Vendors must NOT:

  1. Sell counterfeit or illegal products
  2. Misrepresent products or pricing
  3. Use fake reviews or manipulate ratings
  4. Bypass the platform to complete transactions externally
  5. Abuse the platform or customers in any way.

Violations may result in immediate suspension.

 


10. Compliance & Performance Monitoring

TradeAfrika monitors vendor performance based on:

  1. Delivery reliability
  2. Customer feedback
  3. Order fulfillment rate
  4. Policy compliance

Vendors who fail to meet standards may face:

  1. Listing restrictions
  2. Account suspension
  3. Permanent removal.

 


11. Fees & Payments

  1. Vendors agree to applicable platform fees and commissions
  2. Payments will be processed according to TradeAfrika’s payment schedule
  3. Vendors are responsible for their own taxes and financial reporting.

 


 

12. Intellectual Property

Vendors must:

  1. Own or have rights to all product images and content
  2. Avoid using copyrighted material without permission

TradeAfrika is not liable for intellectual property violations by vendors.

 


13. Platform Integrity

TradeAfrika reserves the right to:

  1. Approve or reject vendor applications
  2. Remove listings that violate policies
  3. Suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice in case of serious violations.

 


14. Limitation of Liability

TradeAfrika acts solely as an intermediary platform and is not responsible for:

  1. Product quality
  2. Shipping delays
  3. Vendor-customer disputes

However, TradeAfrika may intervene to maintain platform standards.

 


15. Agreement

By registering as a vendor on TradeAfrika.net, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Store Policy.
