3. About TradeAfrika

TradeAfrika is a multi-vendor online marketplace connecting independent vendors with customers.

TradeAfrika:

1. Does not own or sell listed products. Products soled by TradeAfrika would be labelled accordingly. 
2. Acts solely as an intermediary platform.
3. Is not a party to sales contracts between users.
4. Contracts are concluded directly between the Customer and the Vendor.

 

4. User Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

Be at least 18 years old. Provide accurate and complete information. Comply with applicable laws and regulations. We reserve the right to refuse access or terminate accounts where these conditions are not met.

 

5. User Accounts

Users are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials
All activities under their account
Providing accurate and up-to-date information

TradeAfrika reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in case of violations or misuse.

 

6. Marketplace Role & Transactions

TradeAfrika provides the infrastructure for transactions but does not act as a seller. Contracts are formed between Customer and Vendor. Vendors are responsible for product quality, legality, and delivery. TradeAfrika may facilitate communication or dispute resolution but is not obligated to do so

 

7. Orders and Payments

Orders are subject to vendor acceptance. Prices, taxes, and shipping costs are defined by vendors. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. TradeAfrika is not responsible for errors or failures caused by payment service providers.

 

8. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping is handled by vendors.

Vendors must use reliable and trackable carriers such as:

DHL
Hermes
DPD
GLS
UPS

TradeAfrika is not liable for delays, loss, or damage during shipping.

 

9. Returns, Refunds & Consumer Rights

Returns and refunds are governed by the Vendor’s policies and applicable EU laws.
Vendors must comply with EU consumer protection regulations, including withdrawal rights.
Customers are responsible for reviewing vendor policies before purchase.

TradeAfrika may assist in disputes but is not responsible for final outcomes.

 

10. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

1. Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.
2. Provide false or misleading information.
3. Interfere with platform functionality.
4. Attempt to bypass the Platform for transactions
   Upload harmful, offensive, or unlawful content.

11. Vendor Conduct

Vendors must:

1. Provide accurate product descriptions.
2. Fulfill orders within stated timelines.
3. Use trackable shipping methods.
4. Maintain professional customer service.
5. Comply with applicable laws and regulations
6. Non-compliance may result in suspension or removal.
