To maintain quality and reliability, vendors must use recognized and trackable shipping providers, including:

3. Vendor Responsibilities
All vendors on TradeAfrika are required to:

b. Processing & Delivery Times
Clearly state processing time (e.g., 1–3 business days).
Provide realistic delivery time estimates (e.g., 2–5 business days within Germany).
c. Order Fulfillment
- Process and ship orders within the stated timeframe.
- Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage.
4. Tracking Requirements (Mandatory)
All shipments must include a valid tracking number.
Vendors must:
- Upload tracking information promptly after dispatch.
- Select the correct shipping carrier.
- Ensure tracking is active and accessible to customers.
Orders without tracking may result in penalties or account restrictions.
5. Pricing Transparency
Vendors must maintain full transparency in shipping costs:
- Shipping fees must be clearly displayed before checkout.
- No hidden charges after purchase.
- Any additional costs (e.g., customs, international duties) must be clearly stated.
Misleading pricing practices are strictly prohibited.
6. What Vendors Must NOT Do
Vendors are strictly prohibited from:
- Using untracked or unreliable shipping methods.
- Providing false or inactive tracking numbers.
- Delaying shipment without notifying the customer.
- Charging hidden or inflated shipping fees.
- Marking items as shipped before actual dispatch.
7. Delivery Issues & Responsibility
Vendors are fully responsible for:
- Delivery delays.
- Lost or damaged items.
- Incorrect shipping details
Vendors must:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Work with shipping providers to resolve issues.
- Offer appropriate solutions (replacement, refund where applicable).
8. Returns & Failed Deliveries
- Vendors must clearly state their return and refund policies.
- In case of failed delivery due to incorrect customer address, vendors should communicate next steps clearly.
- Any return shipping costs must be transparently communicated.
9. Compliance & Enforcement
TradeAfrika monitors vendor shipping performance.
Failure to comply with this policy may result in:
- Product listing restrictions.
- Temporary suspension.
- Permanent removal from the platform.
